QUETTA — In a major intelligence-based operation along the N-25 highway between Jhao Cross and Kraro in Balochistan, Pakistani security forces killed 19 terrorists linked to “Fitna-e-Hindustan” (India-backed militants). During the clash, 11 security personnel were martyred.
According to security sources, the terrorists were involved in extorting money from passengers and local residents. Several other militants were also injured in the operation.
The security forces acted on precise intelligence regarding the movement of the terrorist group. Officials affirmed that every attempt to undermine peace in Balochistan will be met with a strong response, and the lives and property of civilians along with the security of highways will be protected.
This operation is part of the ongoing campaign by Pakistan’s security forces against terrorism in the province, where several similar actions have been conducted in recent times.
