24 Terrorists Killed in Intelligence-Based Operations in Bannu: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces have killed 24 terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna al-Khawarij during multiple exchanges of fire conducted over the past 24 hours in Bannu and its surrounding areas, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a statement, the military’s media wing said that a significant cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain terrorists. The individuals were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities, including attacks on security forces and the killing of innocent civilians.

The ISPR said the operations were launched following the recent terrorist attacks and a suicide bombing in Bannu. Security forces have since initiated coordinated intelligence-based operations targeting terrorists and their facilitators in the region.

The military reaffirmed its resolve to eliminate terrorism, stating that operations against terrorist elements will continue with full force until peace and stability are restored.

The ISPR reiterated that Pakistan’s security forces remain committed to dismantling terrorist networks and ensuring the safety and security of the country’s citizens.
