Pakistan’s Security Forces Kill Nine Terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij in North Waziristan Intelligence-Based Operation

North Waziristan: Pakistan’s security forces have killed nine terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij during an intelligence-based operation in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to security sources.

The operations were carried out in the areas of Palangzai, Nadeem Kot and Kot Khizri. Security sources said a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the terrorists killed during the operation, while several hideouts used by the group were also destroyed.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the security forces for the effective operations in Palangzai, Nadeem Kot and Kot Khizri, stating that these successful actions reflect the nation’s unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism. He paid tribute to the officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Army, saying they are rendering commendable services for the establishment of lasting peace in the country. The Prime Minister affirmed that terrorists would not be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs.

Separately, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that operations against terrorists would continue without discrimination under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision.
