Islamabad: The Pakistan Creative Economy, Culture & Trade Council has appointed Mr. Kaiwan Hamid Raja as Senior Chief Advisor for Media, Creative Industries & Digital Innovation, Pakistan’s prominent media outlet The Gulf Observer reported. The appointment is a significant step towards strengthening Pakistan’s creative economy and expanding opportunities for international collaboration.
Mr. Raja has extensive experience in broadcasting, digital transformation, media policy and education. He is Executive Director of Khyber Network, Chief Executive Officer of Khyber Digital, a Member of the Council of Complaints of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), and a Visiting Faculty Member in Media Sciences.
According to the Council, his appointment is expected to support the development of Pakistan’s creative industries, promote cultural diplomacy, strengthen media cooperation and open new avenues for international partnerships and trade. His experience across traditional broadcasting, digital media and academia is expected to help the Council build the capacity of Pakistan’s creative sector and strengthen its presence in the global creative economy.
The appointment reflects the growing importance of media, digital innovation and cultural exchange in driving economic development, fostering international engagement and creating opportunities for Pakistan’s creative talent.
