King Charles and Senior Royals Attend Peter Phillips’ Wedding in South-West England

Kemble: King Charles III and senior members of the British royal family gathered in a village in south-west England on Saturday to attend the wedding of Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne, and nurse Harriet Sperling.

The private ceremony took place at All Saints Church, Kemble, near Cirencester, and was attended by King Charles III and Queen Camilla, alongside other senior royals, including the Prince of Wales, Prince William, and his wife, Catherine, Princess of Wales.

Princess Anne attended the ceremony with her husband Timothy Laurence. Also present were Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, daughters of Prince Andrew, who has been stripped of his royal title and is now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Peter Phillips, the eldest grandson of the late Queen Elizabeth II, is 19th in line to the British throne. Unlike senior working royals, he does not carry out official public duties and works in sports management.

His bride, Harriet Sperling, is a paediatric nurse.

Phillips was previously married to Autumn Kelly; the couple divorced in 2021.

The gathering reflected a rare informal family occasion bringing together several senior and extended members of the royal family in a private setting outside official state engagements.
