ISLAMABAD — On September 01, 2026, renowned Pakistani Foreign Affairs Expert, an International Award Winning Author, Owner and Patron-in-Chief of renowned Pakistani media websites “The Gulf Observer” and “The Europe Today,” Mr. Muhammad Ali Pasha, held a meeting with His Excellency Munsoo Kurrimbaccus, High Commissioner of Mauritius to Pakistan, at the Mauritius High Commission in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Mr. Pasha was accompanied by Ms. Fatima Tuz Zehra, Editor-in-Chief of “The Gulf Observer,” and Mr. Malik M. Shafiq, Chief Executive Officer of “The Europe Today.”

The meeting focused on exploring avenues of mutual collaboration between Mauritius and the representatives of the two international publications. The discussions covered a range of areas, including media cooperation, historical and educational exchanges, and the promotion of literary and cultural ties.
The participants emphasized the importance of strengthening people-to-people contacts and expanding platforms for greater understanding and cooperation between the two countries. They also discussed opportunities to enhance exchanges in the fields of journalism, education, history and literature.
His Excellency Munsoo Kurrimbaccus appreciated the contributions of “The Gulf Observer” and “The Europe Today” in promoting dialogue, cultural understanding and international cooperation. He acknowledged the role of media organizations in bringing nations and communities closer through the exchange of ideas, knowledge and cultural perspectives.
During the meeting, Mr. Muhammad Ali Pasha also presented a copy of his poetry collection, “Romantic Whispers of the Archipelago,” to the High Commissioner of Mauritius.
The poetry collection, which explores Indonesia and its cultural and geographical richness, was unveiled in Jakarta, Indonesia, in October 2024.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to exploring further opportunities for cooperation and strengthening media, educational, historical and literary exchanges between Mauritius and Pakistan.
